Hooters Flies High in Wesley Chapel Despite Corporate Woes

First up, Wesley Chapel is getting a fresh addition to its dining scene. HMC Hospitality Group broke the news this week that a new Hooters restaurant is slated to open at 25245 Wesley Chapel Boulevard, right next to the Harley-Davidson dealership, in summer 2025. With over 70,000 students in the district, this shift—set for next school year to avoid mid-term chaos—has sparked chatter. Some parents cheer the push for responsibility; others worry it could hit kids with tough home lives hardest. The Tampa Bay Times has the details on this educational U-turn right here.
