Pasco residents can dispose of up to four old tires without paying the county's disposal fee through November 1. The tires must be no more than 36 inches in diameter, according to the county announcement posted by Port Richey.

East Pasco Transfer Station, 9626 Handcart Road, and West Pasco Resource Recovery, 14606 Hays Road, accept drop-offs Monday through Saturday, 7 a.m.–4:30 p.m. The Land O' Lakes site at 6801 Wisteria Loop operates Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.–4 p.m.

Keep tires separate from other waste; attached rims are allowed. The county says discarded tires can collect water where mosquitoes breed. Questions about the program can go to county customer service at 727-847-2411.
