Downtown New Port Richey will host the Cotee River Bike Fest from Friday, Oct. 9, through Sunday, Oct. 11. The city's tourism listing places the event at Grand Boulevard and Bank Street.

Admission is free. Tribute Brands, which is handling the event's marketing, talent booking and live production, says this is the festival's 20th year. Motorcycles, live music, food and vendors will spread across Sims Park and the surrounding downtown streets.

Who is playing

Friday's lineup includes The Stone Temple Pilots Projekt, The Headbang, Pitbull Toddler and Welcome to Destruction, according to Tribute Brands.

Saturday brings Jasmine Cain, The Four Horsemen, Wicked Serenity, Greg Billings, Saints of Saturn, Flo-Raw, Maximum Friction, Midnight Vice, Vern Daysel & The Burning Breeze, and Spoonmen. Tribute Brands says a full slate of music continues Sunday through the festival's final day.

Crowds downtown

Tribute Brands says the festival has become one of the city's signature weekends, drawing tens of thousands of people downtown and giving local businesses a major boost. People who live, work or run errands near Sims Park should plan for heavy crowds and motorcycle traffic through the weekend.

Before you go

The city's tourism listing points to the festival's Facebook page, facebook.com/coteeriverbikefest, as the event's website; check there for daily schedules and logistics before heading downtown. The page also carries the 20th-anniversary promo video created by Josh Rodriguez.
