Dock Upgrades Underway at Anclote River Park

HOLIDAY, Fla. — Boaters heading to Anclote River Park will soon notice major improvements underway, as Pasco County begins replacing all of the park’s existing docks with brand-new, full-floating docks designed to enhance safety and accessibility on the water.

 

 

The Pasco County Parks, Recreation, and Natural Resources Department (PRNR) announced this week that work has officially started on the dock replacement project at the popular west Pasco park. The new floating docks are built to rise and fall with changing tides and water levels, providing a safer and more reliable experience for boaters throughout the year.

 

“While some ramps will remain open during the day, visitors should expect delays,” PRNR said in a public update. “Mooring docks may also close at times depending on the construction schedule.”
