Fall Carnival Weekend at Starkey Market Wraps Up Today in New Port Richey

Families in New Port Richey have until 7 p.m. today to catch the last hours of Fall Carnival Weekend at Starkey Market, 3460 Starkey Boulevard. Sunday is the final day of the three-day event, which opened Friday evening and runs through this evening with a full lineup of old-school carnival games and inflatables.

The setup includes 15 classic carnival games, among them Fish in a Bowl, Flip-a-Frog and Ring Toss, the kind of midway staples that don't need much explaining to anyone who grew up going to a county fair. Kids can also take on a 24-foot inflatable carnival slide and an inflatable obstacle course, plus a GellyBall target gallery and field of play for anyone who wants to try their aim.

Getting in is simple. A $10 wristband buys a child unlimited play on all the games and inflatables for the day. Starkey Market is also running food and drink service on site throughout the event, so there's no need to plan around a separate meal stop.

Sunday's hours run 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., a longer window than Friday's 4 to 9 p.m. kickoff but shorter than Saturday's full 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. stretch. For families who missed the first two days, this is the last shot before the carnival packs up.
