Sheriff says no known threats after school screenshot circulates in Pasco
Pasco deputies said a school-threat screenshot shared among students does not point to any specific campus and that the suspect is out of state. The sheriff’s office is asking residents not to repost the message and to send tips directly to investigators instead.

What the sheriff said
Pasco County families should treat the circulating school-threat screenshot as a police matter, but the sheriff’s office said Thursday that there are no known threats to any county schools. In its Nov. 5 update, deputies said the suspect who sent the message is out of state.
The original alert said the screenshot was being shared among students from multiple Pasco County schools and did not name a specific school or location. The office said it investigates all threats it learns about.
What residents should do
Residents should not repost the message. If they have information, the sheriff’s office says tips can be reported through its Crime Tips Line at 1-800-706-2488 or online, and the original alert also lists 727-847-8102, option 7.
