We're Now the Pasco County Community Website

Our site and our Facebook Page are getting a new name. What launched as the West Pasco Community Website is now the Pasco County Community Website. Nothing about the coverage, the address, or the people behind it changes.

The reason is simple. The site started out focused on west Pasco, and for a long time now it hasn't been. Readers in Wesley Chapel, Land O' Lakes, Zephyrhills, Dade City, San Antonio and the fast-growing communities in between have been part of this audience for a while, and the stories reflect that. The old name had stopped describing what we actually do. Our logo and branding already read "Pasco County, FL," so this is the name catching up to the work.

Here is what is not changing:

• The website address stays PascoCommunity.com. No new URL, no redirect to learn, no bookmarks to update.
• The coverage area stays the same: all of Pasco County, west to east.
• The same team keeps producing the site.
• Contact us at the same place: pasco@community-websites.com.

About that Facebook notification

If you follow us on Facebook, you may see a notice that the Page you liked has changed its name. That notice is us. It is the same Page, with the same followers and the same post history going back to the beginning.

The Page has not been sold, transferred to anyone else, or compromised. Only the name on it is being updated, from West Pasco Community Website to Pasco County Community Website. No action is needed on your end, and you don't need to re-follow anything.
